Some rēlx™ homes are large and luxurious and command higher per-night rates, while others are small, quaint and more modestly priced, yet are filled with character, unique touches and thoughtful amenities.   • What don’t we offer is the better question! rēlx™ is adept at overseeing photography services, onboarding to multiple platforms, managing your home’s listing, handling potential booking inquiries and confirmations, and facilitating all guest communications, as well as any external guest contracts or agreements. In addition, we file any necessary claims for damages, oversee home turnovers, including housekeeping, reporting occasional maintenance issues, perform final home inspections pre- and post-guest arrival and departures. We also evaluate remaining supplies and help restock inventories as needed. rēlx™ does everything we can to ensure that we help you maximize your home’s potential so that you can generate the highest rental rates possible.

    And while homeowners remain solely responsible for the general maintenance of their homes, rēlx™ vows to be the eyes and ears of your home when you can’t be there. Our overriding goal is to mitigate stress and free up your valuable time. So, if that means helping with research and sourcing handypersons,contractors, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, gardeners, pest control, painters, etc., we are happy to help team with you to be sure your home remains in tip top shape.   • Yes! If your home does not meet the current criteria to become a rēlx home at this time, on a case-by-case basis, we may be able to help you elevate your listing’s presentation or help with a variety of our specialties. Please inquire and let us know about your needs.

  • rēlx™ receives 22% commission of the nightly accommodation fee for short term rental stays. Mid and longer term stays are priced differently. Clients are invoiced at the end of each month for the commission and any/all reimbursable expenses.

  • Fair question, and one we love to answer! Short answer is to read our 1,000’s of reviews which we confidently believe speak for themselves. This is our resumé. Longer answer… at rēlx™, size matters. The boutique nature of our company allows us to be nimble, act swiftly, and provide that personal service touch. Big companies just can’t do that at the level we can. We’ve heard this from countless guests and clients who reportedly had “terrible experiences” with larger companies before finding us. Companies who valued quantity over quality and rented their homes for next-to-nothing prices and generated a host of negative guest reviews due to poor customer service. We view this as a “lose-lose” scenario. The guest loses and the homeowner loses. At rēlx™, we’re all about the “win-win,” and again, our reviews speak for themselves. Not to mention, some of our guests end up becoming our future homeowner clients because they experienced, first-hand, the rēlx™ approach to top notch hospitality, which is warm, authentic, and transparent.

    rēlx™ can also modestly boast the best creative juices in the biz and is proud that we are our own in-house innovative agency. Founder Joan Allen has more than 25 years experience as a respected leader in the creative industry, as both a business owner and an award-winning professional photographer. This coupled with collective knowledge of the vacation rental business rivals any competitor, on any coast.
